The Health & Body Care Department at Blue Moon Grocery provide a wide range of products that customers have valued over time, as well as innovative products that are relatively new to the market. Products are chosen based on their quality, novelty, functionality, and affordability. We are constantly bringing in new products, upgrading our selection, and are very interested in our customers' feedback and requests.

Body Care

We carry many lines of quality body care products, including Alba Botanica, Burt's Bees, Kiss My Face, Nature's Gate, Avalon Organics, Tom's, and Weleda. We try, whenever possible to choose product lines that do not test on animals, are cruelty free, and free of animal ingredients.

Vitamins

We carry a wide selection of Pioneer supplements, which got its start in Shelburne Falls, and produces a high quaility line of supplements with carefully selected ingredients to maximize absorbability. We also carry New Chapter vitamins, minerals and herbs. This Brattleboro based company combines cutting edge technology with wholesome ingredients to produce products that have an unsurpassed reputation. In stock, you will also find Now Vitamins, a complete supplement line that provides excellent quality at a surprisingly reasonable price. Also featured are Renew Life Cleanses and Digestive Products and MegaFood Supplements.

Herbs

We carry Herb Pharm as our main line of liquid herbal extracts. They use primarily wild crafted and organic herbs, grown on their Oregon farm and have impressed us with both their mode of production, as well as their novel combinations. Our encapsulated herbs and extracts are supplied by Solaray, one of the better known and well-respected herbal lines.

Homeopathy

An extensive line of Boiron's homeopathic single remedies are kept in stock, as well as homeopathic combinations. You'll also find the complete line of Bach Flower Essences along with a helpful questionnaire and book to help you customize the best combination for your needs.

Expert Staff

Todd Lococo, N.D. our department manager, also heads up our educational and community outreach programs. As a graduate from the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport in CT, Todd brings a vast knowledge base to Blue Moon. Previous roles include: food ingredient analyst; nutritional consultant and Reiki Master/Teacher.
